How to add datepickers to WordPress forms

Forms Time About 20 minutes Updated 11 Sep 2026

FORMS
The short answer

Add a Date field in your form builder, or use an HTML date input if you are building the form manually. Use a plugin when you need date ranges, blocked dates, or linked start and end dates, then test the saved date format and mobile behaviour.

What you need

  • A WordPress form plugin or a custom form
  • Administrator access or access to the form code
  • A test page and at least one desktop and mobile browser
